In September we hunted bear with Antlers Extreme and harvested two bears with them. It was my first big game hunt. We had a blast, fishing in the morning and hunting in the afternoon. I learned a lot of what to do and what not to do. The Badger’s are some of the nicest people to hunt with. I can’t say enough about the hospitality. The food was home cooked and great, and the accommodations were great too. If you want a great place to hunt with knowledgeable people this is the place. Five of us hunted and three killed bear. If you pay attention to what you are told you have a very good chance to kill a bear.

Antlers Extreme is located in one of the best bear producing areas of Maine. Baits are set in large tracks of woods, that have not had hunting pressure in years. Your guides will do their part in placing you in active bait sites. If you do your part, you will get a shot. Your sleeping area is comfortable and the food is good. The Badger's will make you feel at home. I would recommend Antlers Extreme to anyone without reservation.

I am a repeat client for their excellent bear hunting adventures, and am happy to report that this year I was the first hunter to harvest a Maine bear out of our group of five.
We hunted the third week of the season and the weather had begun to cool a little so that the daytime fishing was pleasant. Small mouth bass fishing was good enough to feed us dinner one evening (five hungry hunters and the owners). We finished the week with 3 bears killed for five hunters, one bear over the 200 lb. mark.
I would recommend Antlers Extreme to anyone interested in hunting for black bears over bait, no matter if they were experienced hunters or just beginning to hunt dangerous game. The Badgers are excellent guides with very productive hunting areas, both remote and low-impact.
The lodging is very comfortable and you are well fed, maybe even a little too good! There is usually some activity going on about the camp, and if you're not busy fishing in the early hours of the day, you may get invited to go into the woods and bait the bears. I highly recommend being part of a bait crew if you get the chance.
Brian and Marlene are both friendly people that will go to any length to make sure your stay is comfortable and you get the most adventure for your money. The fees are very reasonable when compared to similar outfits, and I cannot overstate the effort that they both put into your hunt.
I will be returning to their camp for the 2011 season to try for another beautiful trophy!
